The game starts with a tiger in each corner of the board. The tiger eats a goat when it jumps over one. The strategy for the goat player, is to place the goats such that it cannot be eaten but at the same time to try to crowd the tigers into a space from which they can do nothing! A game lasts around 20 minutes. It’s the national game of Nepal. Incredibly good fun. Makes an ideal present, presented in a lovely solid wooden case with hand carved playing pieces.
